Lay Authorisations

As part of ensuring a safe church environment for all people, particularly children and vulnerable adults, the lay authorisations process outlines requirements for lay people with roles in our parishes and congregations to obtain National Police Checks, Working with Children Checks and attend Safe Church Workshops.

The policy outlines the various roles within our churches and the clearances required for each role, with supporting documentation and step by step instructions on how to obtain these clearances.
