The Parish of Kangaroo Flat

Situated at the southern gateway to the City of Greater Bendigo, the parish, established in 1862, combines history with a deep sense of mission to the rapidly growing areas of Kangaroo Flat, Lockwood Marong and Ravenswood. Fellowship within the church family follows the commission of Jesus in spreading the Christian message in the parish and by support of mission agencies. Striving to live as a community of faith, links have been established with the local primary school through various programmes such as Wednesday Breakfast Club, CRE and Kids Craft Connection each week. There are pastoral linkages to local services such as CFA and SES and the St. Laurence Court Hostel.

The 1862 church has been newly painted and is a very suitable venue for all services. The experienced catering group caters regularly for different activities and the hall is very suitable for functions. There is ample off-street parking on the large, easily accessible site

Worship Times

Sunday 9.30am Sung Eucharist and Sunday School (in term times)

1st Sunday each month - 6pm Evening Prayer followed by Fellowship tea

1st,3rd,5th Wednesday  - 10am Midweek Eucharist, St Mary's

2nd  &  4th Wednesday - 10am Eucharist at St. Laurence Court Hostel

Other Activities

Youth Group meets fortnightly on Friday nights

Monthly Fellowship Lunches on 2nd Tuesday of month at 12pm

Breakfast Club at Kangaroo Flat Primary School every Wednesday 8am – 9am

Kids Craft Connection group meet a the school every Thursday for craft activities.

CRE at KFPS every Thursday
