This implementation guide is designed to assist Parishes in our Diocese to adopt and implement the Overseas Mission Giving and Donation Policy approved by Bishop-in-Council in November 2019. The policy is to be implemented immediately. This guide is a step by step approach, with examples and frequently asked questions.

This policy aims to ensure that all resources sent overseas/support foreign mission is done via an Australian Charity that is set up specifically for this purpose and is currently registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit (ACNC) and to ensure none of our Parishes or charities, place their ACNC registration in jeopardy and lose their charitable status by breaching External Conduct Standards.
