Mothers' Union

Anglican Mothers Union Australia are a mission agency of the Anglican Church of Australia and part of the worldwide Mothers’ Union. With links to 84 countries and over four million members who share one heartfelt vision – to bring about a world where God’s love is shown through prayer and loving, respectful and flourishing relationships.

Ending violence, ending poverty, ending injustice. 

Our members work tirelessly to serve their communities to build a future where everyone thrives.

Become a Member:
There are two ways to become a member. The first is by joining a local MU branch (Bendigo Cathedral, Eaglehawk, Cohuna, Kyabram, Maryborough, Swan Hill). This is ideal as you can then enjoy the fellowship, mission activities and prayer life of that group at their monthly meetings. 

The second is by becoming a Diocesan Member. This option is for those who live too far from a branch or aren’t able to attend regular meetings. 

Cost: $30 per year – includes Mia Mia magazine, Linked Together newsletter & contributes to our projects. Payment is via bank transfer. Email us with your Name, Address and Phone Number to facilitate payment. EMAIL: amuabendigodiocese@gmail.com  

Annual Events:
Three Diocesan gatherings are organised each year and hosted by different branches:
    * March – Lady Day
    * July – Winter Gathering
    * Nov – Fellowship lunch & AGM
