The Parish Councillors Pack is designed to assist parish council members in their role. It outlines the duties and responsibilities of a parish councillor along with a range of other practical matters.
All elected Parish Council members are expected to have read the material in the Parish Councillors Pack and have signed the Parish Councillors Agreement.
This is the Act of Synod that governs how parishes can operate including areas such as the Annual General Meeting, pastoral and electoral rolls, eligibility for parish council, parish council structure and finance matters. This Act should be read in conjunction with the Parish Administration Handbook.
This leaflet gives a summary of the expected code of conduct and appropriate behaviours of all clergy and lay church workers.
It should be read in conjunction with the full version of Faithfulness in Service.
