Swan Hill

Christ Church at Swan Hill is on the corner of McCallum and Splatt Streets on the edge of the CBD.  The Sunday Service is an Anglican Prayer Service with some variations. The service is projected on power point and the music is a mixture of traditional and more contemporary, led by organ, piano and saxophone. During school terms, children's worship activities are included. Nyah West is a well maintained weatherboard rural church. The services are prayer book and traditional as is the organ led music.

  • Ultima 1st Friday of the month at 7.30 pm - an informal Eucharist in a private home

Parish activities

We conduct a shortened Eucharist service and our pianist provides music to well-known hymns selected by the residents at Swan Hill Residential Aged Care.

Services are also taken at Nyah District Residential Aged Care and the Swan Hill Extended Care Unit on a rotational basis, with lay ministry involvement.

Bible Study
Groups meet Wednesdays at 11.15 am and 7.30 pm at Christ Church and Thursdays at 4.00 pm at Nyah West, during Advent and Lent and at other times during the year.

Cafe Church
An inter-generational service in the parish hall and foyer at 5.00 pm, generally on the 3rd Sunday of the Month.

Combined Parish Services are held on the 5th Sundays at various locations.

Christmas Eve at 5.00 pm – Children’s and Families Service and 11.30 pm Midnight Eucharist at Swan Hill.
Christmas Day 8.00 am Holy Communion at Nyah West and 9.30 am Holy Communion at Swan Hill.
